The Altstadthotel Platzhirsch is a small and historically furnished city-based hotel, with 15 rooms and suites which meet elevated construction, architectural and culinary requirements; it sets out to differentiate itself from standard hotels and provide spontaneous exclusivity with its personal and straightforward service. Bridging the gap to the contemporary has lead to the interior design highlight that is the Goldener Hirsch and its offices in the adjoining new hotel building.
Our service is understated, authentic, contemporary and tailored to suit the needs of prospective guests and complements our complete offer.
As the pillar of an honest and attentive service, we have our Concierge Service, a feature which has in part been faded into obscurity in the luxury hotel sector and one which we want to integrate into our contemporary concept, without making a great deal of fuss about it. We want to give our guests freedom for their stay, with us, so they feel right at home and then avail of our services if they need or want to.
What we don’t want to do is give a false ambience in the Platzhirsch with extravagant numbers of staff and services. Our aim is get a feel for the individual needs of our guests, and strike a balance between ‘distance and proximity’ – among other things by way of state-of-the-art communication and safety technology.
