Check-in:
Check-in online before you get here via your computer, tablet or Smart phone using our electronic guest data sheet (we will send you an e-mail in advance). On the day you are due to arrive you will receive your personal entry card for your room or suite from our concierge in the hotel, between 13:00 - 22.00. Earlier or later check-in is only available on request!
Check-out:
by 11:00 at the latest! In the event of delayed check- out, please note that will have to clear your room or suite; on the day you are due to depart your key card will no longer be usable after 11:00. Later check-out only available on request!
Cancellation:
Up to 3 days before arrival are free of charge. If the cancellation is received less than 3 days before the booked arrival date, 100% of the total amount will be charged, also in case of no show.
Payment:
The total amount according to the reservation plus visitor's tax (EUR 2.00 per day and person) will be reserved on your credit card account at the end of the free cancellation period and debited from your credit card on the day of arrival. For a reservation of 3 nights or more, a deposit of 30% of the room amount is due. You will receive a separate payment link via email or we charge your credit card directly. If you would like a different billing address, please let us know in advance.
Cleaning:
Please note that all rooms and suites are NON-smoking areas. Smoking is not permitted (in the event of non-compliance, a cleaning fee of € 150.00 will be charged). Interim cleaning is carried out daily.
Damage:
No-one causes damage intentionally, but sometimes things just get broken. Please let us know if any damages occur and will take a look at them during our final cleaning upon your departure. The leasee is responsible for paying the full amount for any damage, unless it is something trivial, such as a broken glass.
Smoking & Fire protection:
There is a strict no-smoking policy in place throughout the hotel and catering business the Platzhirsch! In the event of non-adherence, the leasee is liable for special cleaning charges of € 150.00. Smoking is only permitted outside the building. The lighting of candles and other flammable items if not permitted anywhere in the hotel. We should point out that our hotel and catering business is equipped with fire detection systems in all rooms, suites and common areas, and in the event of fire, a message is relayed direct to the fire service. Please ensure you do not set off an alarm inadvertently. If you do, we should inform you that there is a charge of € 450.00 for causing a false alarm and the fire service being called out.
Quiet during the night | Noise:
In the spirit of neighbourliness we would ask that you not make any undue noise between 22:00 and 07:00! We would also ask that you think of your fellow guests when making noise inside and outside your rooms and suites (TV, chatting,…). Parties and events are not permitted in rooms and suites!
Visitors:
Minimum age for check-in is 25. Visitors are not permitted to your room or suite. External guests are not permitted to stay the night in, or use, rooms and suites. Forwarding personal entry cards or codes for rooms and suites is strictly prohibited - persons involved will be ejected from the hotel!
Dogs & Pets:
"Small" dogs are allowed at the Hotel Platzhirsch upon prior request.
General:
Should any items be missing from your room (wash stands, irons…) or if you need help, just get in touch with us. Please use the facilities and equipment with care and keep your room/suite tidy. Austroswiss Betriebsgesellschaft m.b.H. is entitled to terminate accommodation contracts (even after the room/suite has been occupied) with immediate effect and in exercising its rights as a hotel, can expel the guest or group of guests from the hotel, in so far the guest or group of guests is damaging the reputation, safety or character of the business as a whole, is they suspect a crime has been committed, or other guests, inhabitants, passers-by or neighbours are harassed, repeatedly disturbed or endangered.
